It is Obon in the countryside, and your grandmother keeps refilling your plate before it is empty. Get rid of the food while her back is turned.

How to play

Watch Grandma. When she turns her back, drag food from your plate to the dog, your cousin, your sleeping uncle, the family altar or the flower vase.
If she catches you, your plate comes back piled twice as high.
At the end you step on the bathroom scale.

Tips

She telegraphs when she is about to turn around. Move just after she looks away, not just before she looks back.
Each hiding spot can only take so much. Spread the food around.

Little things to look for

Her favorite line is "you're young, eat up".
Food left on the family altar does not go unnoticed forever.
